Taxes
The Village sends out tax bills once a year, on July 1st. Taxes are due, without penalty, on September 14th of each year. After September 14th, a 1% per month penalty will apply. Delinquent parcels paid between February 14th and February 28th will be assessed an additional 3% penalty. After February 28th, unpaid real property taxes are turned over to the Washtenaw County Treasurer for collection. Taxes may be obtained visiting the links above, by calling the Village Treasurer at (734) 426-8303 x 14, or by email.
Assistance is available for low income residents and senior citizens. Please contact the Treasurer's Office if you need more information. Help is also available through the Washtenaw County Treasurer's Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention Program.
